Elevation Outdoors + Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine (March 2017-Present) Road Team/Brand Manager

  • One of the two-member Road Team that resides in 'Live Outside and Play' Van and travels throughout magazine territories.

  • Responsible for managing and optimizing social media presence through extensive blogging and coordination with the digital team.

  • Attends festivals and represents the magazines representing twelve sponsors at each event.

  • Attends community events to connect with readers and give back to the community via trail cleanups, river cleanups, trail building etc.

 

Serac Adventure Films (September 2015- March 2017) Editor

  • Working with director and assistant editor to complete a feature-length documentary.

  • Edited, organized, and catalogs large quantities of footage in multiple different formats.

  • Researches music and archival material for use in the final product.

Associate Producer, Music Director

  • Acted as the sole Associate Producer for company, completed all tasks necessary to run production company both on set and in office.

  • Managed office finances and full-scale budgets for long-form documentaries.

  • Organized all interview/location releases, petty budgets, and scheduling for film shoots; managed talent and crew while on set.

  • Worked closely with director, editor, and on set crew to execute large scale shoots and interviews.

  • Produced multiple-camera live-switch concert shoots.

  • Worked as Music Director for multiple-camera live-switch concert shoots on location; ensured the director had best angles for featured instruments and run of song.

  • Continued to work with director on concert to concert basis all over country.

  • Worked closely with the director, forming projects from conception and pre-production through to post-production and preparation for delivery to major networks.

  • Coordinated communication between clients, responding to email, and craft services.

  • Productions include: Don McLean; American Troubadour (ran on PBS), Rockin' the Kremlin (in post production, funded by the NEH), Billy Joel; A Matter of Trust (currently running on Showtime), A Fiddler's Holiday with the Jay Ungar and Molly Mason Band (ran on PBS). Concert shoots include: Woody Guthrie at 100! Live at the Kennedy Center, This Land is Your Land Celebration Concert, Holly Near at the Freight and Salvage Coffee House.

 

The Music is the Magic, A Documentary on the Life of Abbey Lincoln (May-October 2010)

  • Worked one-on-one with director as Editor of long form documentary derived from nineteen years of footage shot on 16mm.

  • Edited the memorial film that premiered at Abbey Lincoln's funeral.
