Hello Wildsam!

I didn’t see a place for a cover letter on the application, and I feel my expertise and love of the camper world goes so far beyond what my resume shows.

 

I write to you from the dinette of my travel trailer, camping in a Good Sam partnered campground. I lived in a van for four years before transitioning to – what I find to be a superior method of travel – a truck and travel trailer. While based out of Golden, Colorado, my partner and children have put thousands of miles on our little trailer tires, exploring the hard to reach corners of the US, Mexico, and Canada. Alright, not these specific tires, because we’ve had to change them multiple times along our way. 

 

My editorial expertise, love for the content, and experience with copy across all forms including authoring guidebooks, print publishing, newsletters, and social media, makes me an excellent candidate for this position. I could go on and on, but I hope these short paragraphs paint a picture of how deep I am in the editorial and camping world.
